Furnaces
Keep your home warm throughout our Canadian winter months with a new furnace. We can install energy-efficient gas or electric furnaces from Tosot or Tempstar. If you have an old, outdated furnace, these appliances are great replacements as they are quiet and have advanced temperature and humidity settings to suit your family’s comfort. Furnaces provide heat through in floor ducting. They can also be referred to as "forced air" systems.
Air Conditioning Systems
Combat the summer heat with a new, reliable, and efficient air conditioning system. Tempstar air conditioners come in a range of options and features to suit every need and budget. Our Tempstar options are equipped with dehumidification features for a comfortable summer. Air conditioning only systems provide cool air from an outdoor heat pump through in floor ducting.
Heat Pumps
A heat pump acts as a heater in the winter and an air conditioner in the summer. It extracts heat from one place and transfers it to another. Howe Sound Sheet Metal can install Tosot or Tempstar heat pumps for your comfort and convenience.
There are now heat pumps that can be installed without in floor ductwork. These multizone "mini split" units allow us to place wall mounted units in the rooms that are used most frequently.
Custom Ductwork

Our red seal certified sheet metal workers can fabricate any type of ductwork to accomodate "forced air" systems. Please note that this type of work needs to be done during the building phase, as we need access to the under floor space.
